We provide a comprehensive range of support for children, young people, and families. Whether you are seeking clarity through a diagnostic dyslexia assessment, a reliable screener, or personalised tuition, every service is tailored to meet the unique needs of the learner.

Assessments can be carried out:

  •   In homes, schools and workplaces across Kent & East Sussex.

This flexible approach ensures that every client is supported in an environments where they feel most comfortable, and where they are likely to perform at their best.

Every journey begins with a free consultation. This gives us the chance to discuss strengths, challenges, and goals - and recommend the most suitable pathway forward.
 

Full Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment – £550

  • For ages 6–18

  • 2 1/2 - 3 hour 1:1 session (with breaks)

  • Identifies dyslexia and related learning difficulties

  • Includes reading, spelling, writing, memory, and processing tasks

  • Based on 2025 SASC guidance and Delphi definition

  • Includes 10-point visual difficulties questionnaire (in the pre-assessment stage)

  • Full written report (approx. 25 pages) with tailored recommendations

  • Accepted by schools, exam boards, and for DSA applications (assessor holds APC)

  • Includes pre-assessment planning and post-assessment feedback

Screening & Support Profile – £200

  • For ages 6–18

  • A shorter, structured session designed to explore your child’s literacy profile

  • Helps identify key strengths, barriers, and next steps

  • Includes pre-questionnaire with a 10-point visual screening protocol

  • A short written summary is provided, including tailored recommendations

  • Can be used to guide teaching or decide whether a full diagnostic assessment is needed

Initial Dyslexia Screening (TOD-S Only) – £95

  • For ages 6–18

  • Immediate results shared in a short consultation

  • Written summary emailed afterwards

  • Helps decide whether a full diagnostic assessment is needed

JCQ Access Arrangement Assessments for Schools
On-site assessments for exam access arrangements including extra time, scribes, readers and more – all aligned to the JCQ AARA 2025/26 guidelines.

 

  • Form 8 (Section 2) completed

  • Optional summary sheet for records

  • Ideal for GCSEs, A Levels, BTECs and more

  • From £65 per student or £450 per full school day

Specialist Literacy Tuition – from £45 per session

  • For ages 6–12 (Years 2–7)

  • Weekly sessions tailored to the learner

  • £50 for 1-hour sessions

  • £45 for 45-minute sessions

  • Focus on phonics, reading, spelling, and working memory

  • Structured, evidence-based intervention using proven methods

Are you qualified?
Yes - I am a fully qualified specialist teacher and assessor (AMBDA and APC accredited), with 15 years’ experience in teaching.

Does my child or young person need a dyslexia assessment?
If they struggle with reading, spelling, writing, or processing, an assessment can help identify whether dyslexia or another learning difference is present.

What happens during the assessment?
Your child will complete short, engaging tasks with plenty of breaks. My priority is to make the session calm and supportive.

When will I get the results?
Within 14 days you’ll receive a full report, tailored recommendations, and an optional feedback session.

Dyslexia services in West Kent and East Sussex

Free Parent Consultation

We offer a free initial consultation over the phone or on Teams to discuss whether this is the right path for you. During the consultation, we can explore any academic challenges, learning goals and any specific areas that require additional support. All qualifications, training and enhanced DBS certificates can be seen. As an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), and holding an Assessing Practising Certificate (APC), you can be reassured that all assessments  are carried out to the highest professional standards.

Diagnostic Assessments

We offer comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify dyslexia and literacy -based difficulties. The assessment will take approximately 2½ hours, including breaks as needed. It involves a series of tasks designed to assess reading, writing, spelling, memory, and cognitive skills. Activities are short and engaging, with the longest task lasting no more than 15 minutes.
